I’ve always enjoyed wandering the paths of cemeteries. Not out of any morbid fascination, but rather in search of the diverse emotions these places of memory can evoke.
Of course, you’ll often encounter melancholy there. Sometimes, a sense of sadness or loneliness might even take hold. But you can also find amusement in a detail, an epitaph. All it takes is to look with a certain detachment—perhaps a touch of cynicism at times. But always with respect.
Cemeteries, especially municipal ones, are ideal places for meandering in search of images.
